Born in Athens. Engineered in Bremen. Returning to Greece.
What actually happened
The idea for a new bicycle design was born in Athens in 2010 by veteran cyclist and mechanical engineer Stathis Stasinopoulos. After thousands of hours of research and development, Velo Lab moved to bicycle-friendly Bremen in July 2017.
Now it is time to cycle back to Athens—not to reopen a conventional showroom, but to transform the whole of Greece into one.
The realization
The bicycle was never the destination.
It was the interface.
For years, Velo Lab pushed the boundaries of physics in Athens and Bremen, engineering ultra-light, responsive cargo bicycles. But a masterpiece of engineering means little if it does not take you somewhere extraordinary.
